Price Guidelines:

Training by Marshall Rosenberg

Since income from Marshall's training constitutes a significant part of the income that sustains CNVC world wide projects and trainings, expected income is one (but not the only) factor we take into account in setting his schedule, and we annually establish price guidelines indicating what we would like to receive for his training time.

Following are price guidelines for 2009:

Keynote Speaker:

CNVC would like to discuss the requestor's budget available for this service. If possible CNVC would like to receive as much as $8,000 U.S.D. per keynote address. In general, CNVC would expect to receive a minimum of $6,000 U.S.D. per speaking engagement, and a minimum of $7,000 U.S.D. if it extends longer than 8 hours in one day.

Non-Profit Organizations:

CNVC would like to receive a minimum of:

$4,000 U.S.D. per day plus expenses* for each workshop day

$1,000 U.S.D. for an evening Introductory Workshop plus expenses*

$6,000 per keynote plus expenses*

If participants have access to additional finances, CNVC would appreciate receiving additional funds beyond this minimum.

Profit Organizations

CNVC would like to receive a minimum of:

$6,000 U.S.D. per day plus expenses* for each workshop day

$2,000 U.S.D. for an evening Introductory Workshop plus expenses*

$8,000 per keynote plus expenses*

*Expenses include lodging, meals, local transportation, and so on. There is a $600 flat fee for travel to your state/country requested.

Additional Note:

If the coordinator of the workshop receives from the workshop more than double the agreed-upon amount listed above, the Center for Nonviolent Communication would like to receive half of any money over double the agreed-upon amount. (Example: $4,000 USD x 2 days = $8,000; $8,000 + $600 for travel +$400 for other expenses = $9,000 dollars due the Center. If the coordinator collected $20,000 from the workshop, $9,000 would be paid to the Center, then $9,000 could go to the coordinator to use or donate as desired, and the remaining $2,000 would be split between the coordinator and the Center.)
